Motherhood is hard, I hear you.
Body aches and pains, sleepless nights, the monotony, loud crying, sore boobs, and the constant negotiation of time and self-care.
On a good day, we can manage all of this stuff. We feel capable and confident. We plan, strategize, and troubleshoot.
But there is still an overwhelming desire to be supported - to find our community, to connect and share, to be heard, to be soothed - to be mothered while me mother.
As a mother we can feel a loss of control, a loss of identity, a loss of a lifetime before. All at the same time, we feel powerful, capable, deeply connected to mothers everywhere, inspired, and in love with the journey.
The birth of Sixteen Petals came from this kaleidoscope of feelings and the core need to be supported and loved through it all.
In everything I offer, I hold your heart dear. I hold that yearning, missing, wanting, reaching, loving (what we all walk through) in a compassionate embrace.
You are a mother. And you are more than a mother. That's why I integrate art, movement, writing, reflection, sharing, and creating into every offering, so that you can reconnect with your whole self, once again.
